Alexander McQueen is the crazy genius mad scientist of the fashion world. The ads for his Go International collection at Target are eye catching and awkward, but definitely catch your attention. My story begins when I was packing for spring break and lost my swim suit (I found literally every other swim suit except the one I planned on taking), so last minute I went to Target for a replacement and found this cheap stunner:
And in case you're wondering, here's how it looks on someone not model size (it's a goofy beach pic, but is the best one to show off the entire suit). The suit works when you have an exceptionally long torso like mine, and is completely figure flattering. I'm high-waisted like the model and wish I had a straight-on shot to show that it really looks good from all angles:
Back to the story... After I found this suit, aka my lifesaver, I wandered back to the front of the store to pay through all of the clothes and saw the Go International collection. Target has been applauded many times, but never have I seen a collection where I wanted every single piece I saw. Here's just a few of the standouts (because there are just too many to highlight!!!):
